President David welcomes our visitor for the evening whilst exchanging banners with Professor Toks Fabamwo of the Rotary Club of Gbagada, District 9110, Nigeria.
Professor Toks is a member of a club that won the District 9110 prize of Rotary International and RI Significant Achievement Award for the past seven years. Quite an achievement!!
Club members and President David were delighted to hear how a Gambia Rotary Club operated, but sad to learn that Toks had been visiting the North East whilst his wife received urgent medical attention in North Tyneside General Hospital. The club wished him and his family the very best for the future and looked forward to meeting again in happier circumstances.
