Fireworks on The Links!!!

Thank You – From The Rotary Club of Whitley Bay
The club members of Whitley Bay Club, and our president John Clarkson would like to take this opportunity of thanking all those thousands of people who gave so generously at the firework display on the Links.
President John said,
‘I am pleased that once again we were able to support our local council at their annual Fireworks Display on the Links. I thought the display this year was the best ever and so good in our centenary year! And in view of the financial situation, we all appreciated a display such as this for so many thousands of people to enjoy.’
President John added;
‘In addition to thanking our council, I would also like to mention the generosity of the people of North Tyneside who once again made such fantastic donations. On the night, we collected £490.90 - our highest total for seven years. We shall now be using this money to add to our previous collections to support local charities in our area.’
Once again, the club would like to thank North Tyneside Council for allowing us the opportunity to support them, and also for giving us their support in our fund-raising activities in the area.
