Heads up for the new member of the Whitley Bay Rotary Club

Head teacher Liz Hayes is pictured here being inducted as the latest member of Whitley Bay Rotary Club by President David Wilkinson.
President David said, "We are delighted Liz is able to join us. She will be fondly remembered by generations of young people in North Tyneside who will have know her as their maths teacher or Head of Year."
Liz's father, the Rev. Clem White was also vicar at St Peter's, Monkseaton before retiring to St Mary's where Liz is still a regular member of the congregation. "I am sure," said President David, "That Liz will make a positive contribution to our club and the Rotary organisation."
In conclusion Liz responded by saying, "I have long been an admirer of the Rotary Club organisation and I'm especially delighted to be joining Whitley Bay, a club which has made me feel so welcome. I now look forward to many years of fellowship and laughter, supporting the community in which I grew up."
