Whitley Bay Tea Dance Visit - Dancing The Day Away...
After nearly two years of delays and because of the recent pandemic restrictions, our Rotary Club has finally been able, at long last, to present a cheque to the members of the Whitley Bay ‘T’ Dance Club at the Masonic Hall, where the club meets every Wednesday afternoon to dance the hours away, have a cup of tea and a ‘sticky bun‘ to keep them joints well lubricated!!!
Liz can be seen here in our picture presenting the cheque with Carol Gourdie, Dance Instructor & Teacher with Joyce Hall, Treasurer and four members of the group preparing themselves to take to the floor once again.
President Liz was able to avoid been whisked around the floor and decided, wisely I thought, to leave it to the dance club members to demonstrate their amazing skills.
