Park View Shopping Mall - Thank you for helping Rotary to support young people in our region.
At a recent presentation in the Park View Shopping Mall, Louise Carroll from 'Tiny Lives' said, "We are very grateful to The Rotary Club of Whitley Bay for choosing 'Tiny Lives' as one of their charities to support. This is for the fourth year running and our genuine thanks must go to the Rotary Club and the shoppers in Whitley Bay for making the gift of £400 possible. This means that we can continue to help over seven hundred families each year, whose premature baby spends time on the Special Care Baby Unit at the RVI."
In addition, club president Tore Skjaerstad added that he was delighted to be able to continue to support ‘Tiny Lives’ saying, "Being able to support Tiny Lives is a fitting end to my year as President and our Rotary Club will look forward to seeing Louise at a club meeting in the next few months when she hopes to map out future developments."
In conclusion, Rotary would like to express their thanks to the management of the Park View Mall who allowed the club access to collect and the shoppers who gave so generously to make it all possible. Thank you for helping us to help others less fortunate than ourselves.
