Louise said: “Over the years Whitley Bay Rotary Club has kindly supported Tiny Lives from various fundraising events and activities in the community and we really can’t say thank you enough for their ongoing support. Your help enables Tiny Lives to continue to support over 700 families and babies who spend time on the Neonatal Unit at the RVI each year. This year they have kindly donated £1000; this will help us purchase ‘Claire’s Nests’ developmental care aids that protect, support and help the development of tiny babies on the unit at one of the most critical times in their lives.”
President John added: "Rotary is delighted to be involved in helping so many children at the ‘Tiny Lives’ centre, where they provided the best possible care to so many premature babies and their families and Whitley Bay Rotary is pleased to be able to support them once again."
