WHITLEY BAY ROTARY GOES ALL CUDDLY!
Members of the Rotary Club of Whitley Bay have gone all cuddly and presented the Whitley Lodge Under Fives Playgroup with a new ‘Cuddling Settee’.
Club member Roger Windass recently heard that the old battered and much loved settee had been cuddled out and a new one was urgently needed for those afternoon naps, thinking deep thoughts, passing the time or a just simply having a cuddle when things have got beyond you. Club members and the president would especially like to thank Sainsbury’s on Newsteads Drive, W/Bay for allowing the club to raise monies in the store during recent months and thus enabling the necessary finance to be raised.
